Inspection and Audit Department

The Primary Function of the Inspection and Audit Department is to monitor checks and controls over the Bank’s financial assets. The department exercises this task with timely visits to borrowing units through inspecting officers at specific intervals and during exigencies.
The Department co-ordinates the annual inspection of regulators (NABARD), Statutory Auditors and provides facilitation.
The Department also processes various appointments viz. Statutory Auditors, Information Security Auditors, Audit Committee Chairman etc. and conducts meetings pursuant to policy.
